Behind The Wheel
KP Driving School holds driving instructions only. We do not provide the classroom portion needed for the Drivers Education Program just the BTW (Behind The Wheel) portion to attain BTW certification. If the classroom portion is needed please inquire and we have a certified partnership with another program to offer the classroom portion to attain a classroom certificate of completion.

Tesla Model Y
Safety is my priority in this business and it starts with our equipment. Tesla is accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy with electric cars, this is the future! Our 2022 Model Y provides a 5 star crash rating and is engineered to be one of the safest vehicle built. Technological advancements like Lane Departure warning, Emergency Lane Departure Avoidance, Forward Collision Warning and Crash Imminent Braking assist our drivers in being safe. It is important for drivers to learn and know these safety features. We offer Behind The Wheel driver training, Tutoring, Senior citizen evaluation and road test assistance. This Model Y is equipped with a second passenger side instructor brake, proper signage, emergency equipment and top instructions for you or your student driver to operate safely on our roadways.

Due to the Corona Virus Pandemic
Kalaiwa Pono is offering new safety and sanitation protocols.
1) Please do your own wellness checks at home. If you have any cold symptoms we highly encourage you to cancel appointments and no fees will be charged. Equivalent with the instructor. We will post phone appointments and try to give significant early notice.
2) A face mask will be worn by the instructor and students upon request.
3) Instructor will completely sanitize the vehicle and after each session.
4) Hand wipes and hand sanitizer will be provided for individual use.
5) Any type of virus symptoms must be communicated between the instructor, student and parents before appointment date for rescheduling.
